The first flight you do is usually what leaves the biggest impression on future pilots and can make you really want to pursue becoming a pilot. A few flights though is usually a good idea to get a better feel for it.
The discovery flight is the first step and takes about 1 1/2 hour, it’s a total hands on experience in four stages;
- We chat a bit about the airplane it’s parts and functions for about 15 minutes.
- You fly our state of the art Redbird Simulator for about 20 minutes to see how the controls work and learn the basics of flight.
- You get to fly the airplane around the inland empire for about 30 minutes where you get to experience first hand what flying is all about, “You” do the takeoff and flight and we help out with the landing.
- After your flight we debrief about 10-15 minutes, answer questions and wrap it up.
This is usually where you schedule your first flight lesson.
