The first flight you do is usually what leaves the biggest impression on future pilots and can make you really want to pursue becoming a pilot. A few flights though is usually a good idea to get a better feel for it.
The discovery flight is the first step and takes about 1 1/2 hour, it’s a total hands on experience in four stages;
- We chat a bit about the airplane it’s parts and functions for about 15 minutes.
- You fly our state of the art Redbird Simulator for about 20 minutes to see how the controls work and learn the basics of flight.
- You get to fly the airplane around the inland empire for about 30-40 minutes where you get to experience first hand what flying is all about, “You” do the takeoff and flight and we help out with the landing.
- After your flight we debrief about 10-15 minutes, answer questions and wrap it up.
This is usually where you schedule your first flight lesson 🙂
